‘Fessing up’
Do I need to tell my recent partners that I have an STI?
Yes, if you’ve tested positive for an STI, it’s really important that your recent sexual partners get treatment to stop it spreading. If you don’t want to tell them yourself, talk to your doctor or nurse and they can contact them and encourage them to get checked out. The doctor or nurse will not give out your name or tell any of your sexual partners that you have an STI.
